Celestial Objects: A Gift Guide

As astrology month ends and the festive season comes upon us, we seek to revisit the core of our exploration by looking for objects that can infuse our daily rituals with a greater sense of meaning. What are some simple practices that can nourish us by adding a sense of mystery, cohesion and magic to our everyday?

This month, we’ve explored astrology from many angles — as an art form, a cultural practice, a method of divination, a form of self expression and as a catalyst for community. We’ve broken down key tenets of a natal chart, spoken to mystics reinterpreting an ancient art through technology and asked ourselves (and indeed each other) what it is that draws us to chart planetary motion. And in each phase of our investigation, what we’ve come back to time and time again is a yearning for meaning. For narrative, whether that narrative be one of excitement, mystery, authenticity, sameness, connection.

How can well-designed items help us live our modern lives better? Like astrology, what are some simple practices that can nourish us by adding a sense of mystery, cohesion and magic to our everyday?
